this is a very old physics bug that was in the past very easy to perform when making a tower with about 4 tees and just waiting (0.5 era) in 0.6 it wasnβt that easy(it was happening very rarely - so rarely that it was considered as βalmost fixedβ). Iβve recently seen players performing it quiet often on this map in this part(I was a little bit surprised xD). This must be a change in ddnet mod. I know its easy to be done with spec and shotgun but on ddmax we didnβt allowed for /spec. I will always consider spec as cheating so only pause was allowed =]
Yes i know that spec is good in giving strong hook but still its cheating and should be fixed in different way ^^
i didnt meant fixing spec + sg i meant that giving strong to someone by using spec should be done diffrently without spec xD or to just make one hook option weak or strong or middle. If hook would be fixed then removing /spec would be easier :p hue hue and the sg bug would be almost non existent hue hue (edited)

Idk, even without the strong problem I think spec is just a good quality of life feature. Yes it can give an advantage like when everyone goes into spec so the guy can pass without bumping (and sg bug too) but 99% of the players dont care
hmm lem put it this way maybe that would consider you to my point of view about that feature
If spec would be removed then map creators would have to design maps less 2p and more t0 (lots of chatting and bonding community exacly like it was on ddmax)
also imagine how many finese actions we lose bcs of that. Now u just land on edge drag tee up and both spec. Without that you would see chain-hookings more often and epic saves just to net let someone fall into spikes. Yes game would be much harder but also more watchable xD and everyone love βeye-candyβ xD
You can decide for your map if you want to have the feature enabled or not. Why would you actively want to take the option to choose from people? This feature gets especially more useful the harder the map gets. Would make absolutely no sense to downgrade the game to satisfy the t0 player community and let everyone else suffer for it
Downloaded my first selfmade gametiles on teedata.net. Apparently after 2 moths it got over 3k downloads and is the second most downloaded tileset. I thought the website is kinda dead, where do the ppl come from lol

i dont fully believe the download counts because on skins.tw (before it became teedata) the download count would be half/double depending on where you look at it(edited)
on my profile page it showed my most downloaded asset with like 4k downloads but would be 8k somewhere on top assets page lmao

skins.tw used a really basic download count logic where you could inflate the download count by opening the url multiple times from same browser, same ip, same everything
