ddmax was somewhat similar to ddnet. they had alot of exclusive maps. at some point ddnet became more popular than ddmax. some reasons are probably the better technical support and the point system.

can i somehow bind dummy to switch to exact weapon??

is there any convenient way (other than steam) to see the number of hours for ALL TIME? on ddnet.org it shows only for the last year

you rly believed in that text ! oO ban was never about writing about me (lots of people done it all the time - thats a normal price of being head admin of something - people will always insult you no matter what you will do xD) from the beginning of ddmax existence I knew what kind of price I will have to pay. I even released two maps "angry" where there is big "fuck you" and other bad words and everyone knew it was all addressed to me ^^. if i remember correctly both maps were censored on ddnet https://ddnet.org/maps/Angry https://ddnet.org/maps/Angry-32-2 deen back then broke multiple ddmax rules which resaulted in ban also Learath on forum wrote something that I banned a lot, funny thing about that was that ddnet back then gave more bans in a month(who knows maybe even week) than I've done in 5 years of ddmax and our other servers (but oh well

we started on 0.5 with a huge mess in code cleaning that took a lot then switching from 0.5 to 0.6 also took a lot (I even helpd other big community servers to make a switch) 0.7 was just a crawling baby not even stadarised what it will be so we didn't even had bigger plans to even care about trying to track it (we just wanted to wait for final product)

still back then it was already knew that there wouldn't be any bigger point to keep the compatibility (0.7 then and now are like 20 players - yes I know I'm exaggerating - but you know what I mean)

DDStats shows a different play time because it doesn't include any previous names unlike the official site does. I sadly don't have access to a list of renames.

ddmax and ddnet forked it

ddrace code wasn't easy to get I somehow had it and first was clean up then "security" (mostly crashes preventing done by Floff aka LemonFace, noother, szyker) and qol improvements (and hookthrough xD thx to fluxid) (edited)

ddrace died at some point

after that greyfox showed we had a conversasion and he said he would like to maintain ddrace so we gave him ddmax code and in collaboration official ddrace mod started to popup on 0.6 version (everyone benefited from that but truth was that it was done for ddmax - what we truly needed) ^^ (edited)

about iDDRace (very popular mod bcs of "/r") speculation: If I understand correctly then it was based on 0.5 trunk and 0.5 trunk was rewritten ddmax mod or it was just ddmax mod with more qol improvements and then maybe it was rewriten from scratch and started basing on 0.6 (HEINRICH HELP !!!!!!! xD I bet you will remember what was 0.5 trunk and when movement to 0.6 started and if there was a rewrite or if it was earlier)

When I limit it from the fps limiter, the game freezes and progresses. Vsync was working in w10. But when I switched to w11, it stopped working. What can I do?
