you can join an empty server and from the vote menu change the server type to solo

A map Like borace is uncommon because of it's Teamplay mechanics but you can checkout different gores maps available on ddnet on the wikipage I linked above

@Gaucher20 as I know you don't heed to create a folder, you just put your .cfg file to the game folder and run it via console or binds ingame bind x exec file.cfg

Yes. That's the reason deepfly is possible. It's the same thing when you laser someone in freeze. They can jump/laser/whatever (edited)

would guess yes for both moderate and brutal because you can often jump into teleports to go back a part, so only checkpoint teleports and falls through freeze are a problem

If by shadow you mean demo, then no. You may be able to find some runs on Youtube, and if you can't find the one you want you could ask the player if he is willing to share it.
