Might be since you fall with speed and grenade and shield next to each other you get grenade and touch shield in one tick so you end up having it

You can skip shield s with weapons but iirc when they are 2 tiles away from each other not one

i can explain it like this, shield 1 is on 1.00 coords and shield 2 is on 1.50, you landed on 1.25, if you landed on 1.26 it wouldn’t work

the coords aren’t accurate but you landed in the middle between the 2 shields and there’s one coord for it to be possible

i think shield is 3×3 and maybe there is no cavity here because they overlap？

yes but their speed was much much higher

you cant compare his speed which was basically 60 to 255

yea you can get thru the middle at 2 gap but also pass the tile top right of a shield without activation

this is similar to gates, you need to hit the right tick of the shield and also be in the middle, its not hard to pull off and can be timed
