spook no ur not gonna lose all your points. If recently made points won't be recoverable then they will recover other of your points from base recovery. Don't know what is exacly the issue don't worry they are prepared for this kind of problems =]

No, IPs change, people can share the same providers, and we don't store IPs for very long

you are right, it would be difficult for people who have dynamic ip, for example (and I still don't understand how) my dummy has a different ip than mine.
