You are using a handheld device, in a manner in which there is no warranty, then crying that it's not working. It's disingenuous. A cracked copy of a game not working properly in the expert mode of a handheld linux device is an insane thing to complain about
though to this day i have an app that wont run, is carbon copy of what i have on pendrive, and the software from pendrive (put on OS) will run, and will run forever, but the one that was already there, just wont (the one that was already there is also copy of that from pendrive but unused for 2 years)

It's not linux that broke your ILLEGAL copy of a game PATCHED WITH GOD KNOWS WHAT. Call steam support about it and tell them how their device in a mode they explicitly don't support can't run a patched binary of dubious nature

This used to be a much bigger issue when UEFI was young. Windows used to just think it owned the entire EFI partition. So when updating their bootloader they would just delete everything else in there
