Like Broso56 wrote. DDmaX aka DdracemaX had never ever anything to do with ddnet. DDnet just took the maps without asking and put them where ever it did fit good foe them. ddmax.easy is not novice and never intended to be.

there are only few novice maps on ddmax it never was intended for beginners. In the past there were lots of servers that were made for beginners with /r funtion and helpers flying on super. If you failed you just typed /r and you were teleported to last unfreezed area or waited for helper. Our goal was to make nice maps to speedrun and to go in bigger group and chat with friends. I do believe that this was achieved. Offcourse not every map is good for speedrun in ddmax but majority of them are good to hang on and chat xD

hmmm theres lots of teleport clones maps on ddmax.next category (so you have billion of tries to make a part. Yet to what Sergonizer suggest the only thing that comes to my mind right now are parts like ive made on skynet 4 ( theres a swing part if you fail you fall into speeders that take you to the beginning of the part - yeah I never liked the teleports xD)

if u go to ur rooters website which is like 192.168.0.1 or smth, u can port forward ur ipv4 ip, and ddnet deafult port, which is 8303, but that would expose ur location, and a 50/50% chance that it works, or not, u can get ur ipv4 by typing ipconfig in any terminal/cmd/ or any console u have
