Laser will teleport you to the very end of its path, so the laser went through the weapon tele tile, ended up in this box, then expired, teleporting you into it. Quite unfortunate

It's a fairly crude way of blocking projectiles from working, I'd imagine it could be mapped in a better way to prevent this from happening, or coded better

Yep, I explained how it worked basically the tiles that prevent your laser from going through them are actually just teleporting your shots to that box, if your shot is able to complete its max range, it'll just teleport you inside of the box

Teleport laser doesn't require a specific tile to teleport you, it simply just needs to travel its max range, teleporting you to the end of it. So this wouldn't happen with pistol or grenade

create a NEW file - called logfile.txt in your config directors (e.g %appdata%/DDNet on windows)
then open the game - press f1 - and type logfile logfile.txt

Literally the only moving thing in ddnet (the freeze laser) is like the most annoying object in any map, so im convinced that current client limitations are enough for making new content that isnt annoying
and closing old clients usage would permanent close cheat clients problem

actually if there would be ability to put some kind of trigger on the map that starts moving from a certain place then it wont be much problem for speedruners because it wont be random

You would have to place it directly before the moving object to make it not random, otherwise if its even a little bit far from the block few seconds can ruin the cycle

yeah why not, and to make it that after they start moving they don't stop so this way in t0 everything will be moving and fun and speedruners wont be annoyed by rng

what if I will make a debloated client that practically doesn't add anything but actually removes stuff (for example, Editor, Demos, the server executable...)
