I had some issues with my pc lately (AMD Ryzen 4700U + integrated gpu), so I reinstalled an os (Fedora40, with standard Gpu drivers included in the kernel (amdgpu). Now I face rhis weird issue: I capped my fps to 420 via gfx_refresh_rate. However I still habe weird stutters/ which occur quite frequently, making good gameplay impossible for me... After a bit of debugging, I figured out that those laggs are actually fps SPIKES not drops, what the qctual fuck. Somehow my pc avoids the framerate cap for some ms and then drops back to the cap, resulting in lag and even tping some framew foreward. What can I do to fix fhat? I'm down bad 😦

It's so sad, somehow debian based distros were not working anymore (performance governor broken, CPU often stuck on 400mhz, so I couldnt play at all) and now this on Fedora. Please save me from reinstalling windows cammostripes Client 18.2 from website btw, building myself didnt work cuz i miss dependencies ... (edited)
