You can control the quality with cl_video_crf, where 0 would be the highest quality and 51 the lowest (default is 18). There's also cl_video_recorder_fps, cl_video_preset if you're interested in further tweaking of the rendering.

can you check your ghosts folder under your config directory? - if it was turned off prior you might not have any (edited)
