if u have unstable ping, higher prediction margin can reduce lags in exchange of having a higher ping (fake ping basically)

so a prediction marign of 300 can almost tank ping spikes of 300ms

like i usually play with around 60-70 ms on ger servers and 80-100 on pol/rus

or is it just for spikes?
