Jokes aside, I think this is a lovely detail in many maps, but I'm always uncertain if it was done intentionally. It still looks good and I don't think many people notice it. So I did the only sensible thing and wrote a script to see how many maps with stars and a moon put them in the wrong order, and the answer is about a third.

Statistics that the script outputs:

Out of 362 maps with night skies, 127 order the moon and stars incorrectly (35.08%)
36 maps were saved by having the same parallax for the moon and stars
Not counted maps:
Maps with stars in front and behind the moon: 23
Maps with moons in front and behind stars (???): 11
Maps with wayy to many layers of stars and moons: 6

Note that there are bound to be some false positives in there, the script won't catch all maps and will make mistakes.

Nice script but theres nothing wrong with all the maps u mentioned :p TW is not on earth and and there was never anything said that each map takes place on the same planet. With that said maps can be placed in different sections of teeworlds universe. Maps can have multiple suns, many moons and can be behind lots of tiny stars. We all know that tw’s physics is very strange and is only similar to our but its not the same =] With such a strange physics its a normal thing for tw universe to have a gigantic moon comparing to planet on which map takes place. Nonetheless still a great script and great effort ^^

does anybody know how the random rules for automappers work? It's not described in the tutorial
