Hello i'm trying to host an infclass server on my VPS but the masterserver doesn't seem to register it. I can connect to it from public ip so it's not an firewall/NAT problem.

Currently, yes, the space is used if you check the second checkbox. But in terms of UI/UX, it would be better to always show all controls but grey them out if they are disabled, but the UI can't support that at the moment.

u cannot have an empty name if that is your question

if u have no name in player_name then it falls back to steam_name afaik

so deleting both would give you an empty name, but most servers don't support that and will give you an automated one

Maybe not a complete rewrite but it would be complicated because of compatibility with old clients, which could only see shorter clan names

yeah, it's pretty restrictive if you use multi-byte characters

if you're talking about a game-server, these server's are privately hosted, if you have a player-base big enough so its worth putting up a server for it, you'll most likely have to host it yourself

nah you just don't have ipv6 interface, your server is registered
