wait, if this was the only reason to add team ranking functionality inside a team 0 environment, then just fucking delete teamranks in its entirety! Did we forget that team 0 is a global environment, accessed by all? And by default?

Adding team functionality to a global environment destroys competition in a counteractive way, where people "farm" these team0 ranks as well, making it not so separate from teamranks imo.

This is what I was thinking. Why the fuck would the Devs try help big groups skip a whole map and ruin legit try hard ranks?

Because these t0 runs are happening anyway. But before this feature, t0 speedrunners had a lot of difficulties playing in a real t0 because a lot of random guys joined the server and just played the map, and those 'speedrunners' went into full rage mode - blocking/insulting/votekicking... And after some time, you (as a normal player) couldn't just join the server because you would be banned instantly by them. There was a rule that t0 speedruns are okay if you don't interfere with other players. As you can see, it just didn't work.
