Allows 0.7 clients that speak the ddnet protocol to change their name without reconnecting. 0.7 removed skin, country and name changes while being in game. A minor release of 0.7 reintroduced skin changes. This new ddnet ex message reintroduces country, clan and name changes. So custom 0.7 clients can change their name on ddnet servers. It would be really nice to have a queue to join a full server instead of retrying every 5 seconds to join. The concept of trying every 5 seconds if there is an empty slot can stay the same, but it would be really nice to have a guarantee to join the server at some point instead of hoping for some luck. Especially the user would have way more info on whats going on instead of just sitting in the connection screen hoping for the best.

using fifo pipe the inputs are instant. so i guess i could use fifo for instant inputs and econ for instant outputs?

Maybe the implementation buffers your messages too long, try with basic telnet command or use wireshark to see when the message is sent

Discord game activity. When you leave a server it still shows the map you were playing in the discord game activity. I suggest two ways: 1) Stop showing the game activity 2) Add game activity for just playing ddnet(when you run the game it also doesnt show anything in discord). (edited)

There seems to be an issue with clear_activity in the version of discord game sdk that we are using: ResponseError { code: InvalidPayload, message: "child \"activity\" fails because [child \"supported_platforms\" fails because [\"supported_platforms\" must contain at least 1 items]]" } closes #8180

Previously it wasn't very clear that ec_password is required to be set for econ to work. I've now updated the description of it and now also print a message when you only set ec_port.
econ: ec_password is required to be set for econ to be enabled.
