I personally dont think it was laziness or skill issue

the only thing i can think of is that it's technologically easier to do it high detail nowdays

also the "older style" drawings still appear, but im unsure wether it's on purpose or somone's just learning the ropes

I guess it's most glaring when U either launch old LN vs new LN, or take a character that was popular X years ago like vocaloid, their posters were drawn way way different than today's
btw it's really funny because the industrial chickens really taste differently from real chickens (I remember few months ago, we mixed store bought chicken with farmer bought chicken) and everyone, me included, thought it tastes kinda weird
