Hey guys, I have a few problems with ddnet recently. First of all i sometimes cant connect to ger10 servers. It says "Requesting to join the game" for several minutes. Second of all i sometimes get connection problems on ger10 after joining a server and can play anymore because of lags. (Im 100% sure it is not because of my internet. It must be something about ddos protection or some other problem the servers have with me. Does anyone have similar issues?

Sometimes you can get unwhitelisted from ger10 even while you're playing it, so opening it again in your browser could help

Also, if you're on steam and playing with dummy, I know that there's been a bug going around that makes you dc after a while if connecting dummy, so that might be a reason too

This is also known and is fixed by Whitelisting again - stated Here: https://discord.com/channels/252358080522747904/293493549758939136/1222608054608986173 Should be already fixed tho

then your ip is dynamic

usually you’re only gonna have a static ip if you explicitly set that up with your isp

I'm not too sure on the specifics with ip's, but i've had to use my ip to sign up to a beta test before and i never had to request an update for my ip in the months it was in beta

That is exactly what happens yes, my inputs stop working, I can't chat but I can see chat bugging out and moving

It's a strange feeling dm'ing someone on dc that I'm timing out and watching them tell other people in chat i'm timing out while i'm frantically trying to whitelist again

i was able to ssh into my home network using the same IPs over a period of months when i was at school

but if you’re sure your IP didn’t change then this shouldn’t be an IP thing. your whitelisted status is probably just expiring i guess

Now that you've told me a bit more, I don't think my ip is static but I guess I just have bad luck when it comes to internet and this game
