but at the vertical its much more
because the gravity is uncapped, meaning vertical will just increase due to gravity
04:03
but its so weird that there is no capping on velocity when going up (which once a bug involving perfect positioning and speedups lead to infinite upper velocity, lead to teleport you to the highest position you can be, which at the time was "inf", which also caused a crash) (edited)

Why are there 2 Vénas? Both refer to the same profile when clicking on it
Because the second one is "Points (30 days)", not "Team Rank"

Oh, it's so big I couldn't see the separation between the two. Thanks

I don't know if it's already known, but I just noticed there is a bug with rendering of shotgun and pistol shots on vanilla in the demo player. It's the same on 18.0.3 and 18.1 rc-2

On Release Canditate: (Idk if it's related to the release canditate, but it's a bug regardless)
  • Opening up a map from ./ddnet/data/maps will work, but saving it (even in an unchanged status) will pop up the "Save As" function, where it wants you to save it to %Appdata% -> ddnet/maps.
I'm using Linux, alongside using Flatpack version of Steam, so it has it's own local structure: ".var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/ddnet Whoever might have Steam version of DDNet on Flatpack Steam could test this out

the game will never try to save into its data directory
Avatar
then make a warning popup about saving a map duplicate which is located in the data directory, because there is no differenciation between maps from the data directory and maps from the local directory
13:09
like, a house icon next to the maps from the data directory would be nice to have, making people aware that they have to save a duplicate of it

You can view each storage location separately if you navigate to the parent folder ../ while already being in the root folder
Avatar
Yeah but the main prob is still the identification of different storage located maps
16:53
cuz each act differently in terms of saving, causing probable confusion (edited)

the idea is that you don't use the app directory for your own data
17:03
because it can get overridden by updates etc.
17:03
we had a PR that warned you if you placed any of your own files there
17:03
but it didn't get finished IIRC
