just make sure to test everything probably, if u feel like your map is good to go send it in.
mapping is a personal thing - nobody is forced to map something that he doesnt like. so you should like your map.
also pls dont compare your maps to other maps, try to make your own type of map 
ye ofc ill test all of the map, i think is the first thing to do when u finish or while u creating a hooktrought map, to make parts clean, fun to play and ofc not repetitive, also wont copy parts and either compare to high lvl class with mine, ill try to do all for my own skill lvl and gamesense
