ddnet staff does not like seeing multiple tees with the same name and skin. Everything more than 2 might get you in trouble. I even got banned once mid race because other players on the server also started using the name ChillerDragon. And some mod paniced and banned all thinking it was some kind of attack

insane new update...there is a mode of selecting kog servers, but not DDnet.... Finished maps, also not visible. Very terrible update

It's a bug in 18.0.1, you need to download DDNet manually again: https://ddnet.org/downloads/#18.0

@Learath2 as a hacky workaround I put the win64 files into the unsupported-unsupported locations, but I still get an error somehow

Hey! I've been running a ddnet server with rescue enabled with a bunch of maps for some time now as I like to practice maps that way and my server often has some players playing on it. One issue I recently ran into however is that some people for fun just votekick others, including me, the admin. Often times I can't go into rcon commands to deal with these players before they get to me, so here is the question: is there a way to either 1. have console access to my server, so even if they votekick me I can just ban them from there? 2. turn off votekick for certain players/IP addresses, so they couldn't kick me for example?

yep, it's a recurring issue...

i know number 1 is possible but idk how myself, but u could do sv_vote_kick 0 to stop all vote kicks, and kick/ban people with rcon yourself

yes I thought about that as an interim solution, but generally I think votekick is useful, it's just some people exploiting it that's the issue
