In Italy they don't speak much english either, but they will still try their best. Here you ask them if they speak english and they will just leave and serve the next customer who does speak german
at least they don't charge you for their service like in italy xD

Im actually super annoyed by how nice the people are in Indonesia. Can walk 2 meters without being asked „hello sir how are you?“ it’s just annoying af to be smiled at 24/7(edited)

I started ordering food in Berlin and multiple times the response was „I don’t speak German“ lmao

The hotel I'm staying at has elevators from 1993 and they are so well programmed. They always arrange themselves in a way that there is one close to every floor and always one at the lobby
