We have 4 emotes for "f*ck you", but exactly zero for "thanks" ^^

I use the heart and the smiley for that as I said before

Is there somewhere noted why my maps need to download very very long ? (It’s not my internet or pc)

could this 'i/o error, cannot create folder' be related to absent write permissions for the directory the maps are stored in? (edited)

sockii told me the first time this error occured he had ddnet installed via steam. is it possible the %APPDATA/Teeworlds directory persisted and isn't writable by the current non-steam-installation he is using rn?

could someone please just tell sockii where he can download a bundle of all current map files, and in which directory he has to store these map files? probably fastest work-around?

No. I have no clue xD. But if you think that's the issue then that may solve it? asking on #bugs or dev may result on better answers

ok I got windows 11 and I want to download a bundle of all maps currently available. 1.: where can I download such a map-bundle? 2.: in which directory do I have to place this map-bundle?

1. https://ddnet.org/releases/ (just read the first line and decide where/how you want to download them) 2. ig it should be in the folder "downloadedmaps" in your DDnet / Teeworlds directory. I haven't done it myself so can't really know. you should place the maps and not the bundle there I think.

extracted to 'downloaded maps' directory, works. slow map download mentioned before kinda solved as well.
