The deepfly bind is technically not needed for deep-flying, but it still has this name because it allows you to reproduce deepfly with a dummy (hammer eachother at the exact same time). Name origins are weird, if it gets used by the majority of the community, it will stick and I'm afraid you can do nothing about it

nobody said a word about bind, deepfly is not the name of a bind, its a flight when you hit a dummy and he hits you. why are you so obsessed with it? its literally deepfly but horizontally and bind has nothing to do with it, you literally cant even do this fly with a human
