yes you can check the wiki, i have a 3fly bind there πŸ™‚
havent found it yet, is it one of the 3 proposed methods? I'm really hyped when the fix comes through, i actually failed and used cl_dummy_hammer instead of fire, bur prob noticed the same bug. In my mind this fix gives me the option to hammer and hook ar the same time, meaning i can maybe drive but feel like 3flying as the hammerer. I want to bind copy moves as a toggle to the same key as hook and hammer, so i can aim normally, we'll see how it goes

Yeah but i am able to (hammer and hook in the same direction) Wirh cl dummy hammer 1 it just cancels my hook. I had another problem regarding cl_dummy_copy_moves. I use it as a +toggle 1 0 in combination with cl_dummy_hook, to keep the ability to aim it

But when i press d when i release the hook key, the dummy keeps mocing right. Is there a way to cancel this behaviour? I know that cl_dummy_resetonswitch does it if inwiuld switch, vut thats not the case here

also dummy_reset cancels it, but i can't find a smart way to execute this right after releasing the key

you're probably moving right with cl_dummy_copy_moves on, and then turning it off, which sticks the movement key for the dummy

if putting dummy_reset somewhere in there doesn't fix it then idk

well it cant be in the bind itself, because its not executed after the toggle is over i guess. Maybe i can create a workaround with executing other cfgs, but prob not, I just wondered if one is able to remove this sticky behaviour in general, but i guess there isnt

i use the bind in the wiki, and you just gotta be careful with the fly, as if you aren't +toggling cl_dummy_hammer when you move then he's gonna move with you, which might break the fly. this is something i don't think you can avoid unfortunately - but just in case, i have a reset button to reset the dummy of all input and dummy copy and control etc, so when things get messy i just do a normal fly

3 fly works fine that way pretty much, besides the dummy moving with you unfortunately

theoretically if you practiced a bunch, you could strategically time holding down the dummy_hammer when you move so the dummy doesnt move with you, but i haven't tried this yet

or spam 2 keys - one for the dumy hooking and one for resetinng the dummy, like you said

Hmmm I get that, and its cool that it removed the awkward behavior of the classical 3flybind , where the dummy jumps when u jump, which isnt wanted. I have a different goal/problem though. For me its quite hard to input this alternating pattern of hammer & hook at least in pseudo. I have fkin finished just pseudo fly but cant dummy 3 fly because of following reason: I legit press hammer and hook exactly the same time and also hold them both equally long down. This didnt got punished at all during dummy pseudo vut now it is a hard problem to conquer. I wouldt say im mechanicslly giften and it prob took 500h to get my dummy pseudo this clean behaving, but the inputs are very very bad for p3fly....

I quickly found out that there is no legit way to circumvent the restrictions of cl_dummy_hammer 1 but thought that i might be able to vuild sth easier for me to execute

its pretty much what i do too, and youre right when 3 flying it changes it so you sometiems have to hook for longer or shorter

second method works with the default hammerfly bind and the dummy holding hook + d. deactivate the hammerfly bind for a second so the dummy will hook you and activate it again, deactivate, activate... needs some practice and good lineup but allows you to fly sideways!

How can I solve this error? People can already connect to the server using ip directly, but server name just won't show up in Internet tab.

ah sorry I'm really a noob in programming😒 It's Linux cloud server. I wanted to try seting up a public ddrace server and just followed the instructions in this ddnet wiki. https://wiki.ddnet.org/wiki/LAN_Server Btw I wonder if it is GFW that blocks the connection from the master serverπŸ˜‚

yes, u can easily run more on that but also depends on the load. do you expect the servers to be full?

A few weeks back we were able to use our tp bind button and tp towards our cursor in practice without speccing first. Recently it hasnt worked for some time. Will it come back or remain the old way, cause i really enjoyed the feature
