That sounds like a Nord VPN question not a ddnet question. Either you can whitelist the application or you can whitelist the servers or you can't do either and have to turn it off every time.

ISPs punish you for torrenting specific things, as I just said. It's not really unsafe if you torrent responsibly, and having a VPN helps with the ISP part
