Well, my next step would be confirming curl 8.4.0 selfbuilt works. Then I'd just bisect between 8.4.0 to 8.5.0. But that's just how I like to do it. I'm sure you don't need me telling you how to debug 😄

probably known already but the elasticity tunings are quite buggy, often when falling, even with minimal momentum, there is no bounce
