When GTA 7???

So. For a proper Keyboard there are many options. I personally love mechanical keyboards. Once you get used to it they feel so much better than regular ones. The switches have different colours. With each different colour, the switch behaves differently when pressing. Cherry has a nice page explaining different behaviours: https://www.cherrymx.de/en/cherry-mx/mx-original/mx-red.html. So, now you gotta pick a switch colour and can start looking. I recommend red for gaming. There are a lot of brands out there which produce their own switches to save cost. If you dont want to spend 150€+ you can get some not well known brands. They usually do the job. If you want original cherry switches the price goes up very fast. I built my own keyboard with cherry switches and only the switches were 70 Euro out of 180€. But which one you choose, I recommend hot-swappable switches. Then when a key breaks, you can simply replace the key instead of the whole keyboard. If you want you can tell me a piece and some features you want and I will look for you

rgb is only ever good, when it's single colour light up, and U're in a room looking for extremely unused key, otherwise i turn it off everywhere i can, less power consumption, less eye strain

Eh idk, I think the future will rely on companies more, than what the goverment is trying to accomplish. If other companies team up and say "fuck you, we won't be ridiculed by this" and just decide not to produce stuff for Europe, Europe will shit itself to bankruptcy

That is the power of the EU. All together the EU is a bigger population than the US and is a very rich block. You don't just get to not produce stuff for the EU

Silvers don't have the click, so it shouldn't drive you insane

They are linear. So as you press the key the amount of resistance increases the same all the way through (edited)

Browns on the other hand have a bump at the end. You get a slight increase of force needed at the very end followed by a drop that lets you know you have pressed the key all the way (edited)

I find that feedback very nice and would never consider a switch without it. But many typists love linear switches so it's indeed a subjective thing

i have only ever used mechanical keyboard for 20 min in my life at 3 different houses, never asked what are their switches. I do have one at work (it's librarian's private property) when work ends im gonna go clickly clack her keyboard, check on internet what is it, and what to not buy!

the actual tactile experience is one thing but you could get a good idea of the noise by just watching a video... most kb manufacturers even have like a sound preview thing on their website outlining the switch's volume when compared to the other ones they offer

i personally like blues but they could get overwhelming if you're doing other stuff. i like tactile switches still tho so i got browns on my keyboard

the sound preview, sounds ultra loud, aside from the silent ones that are nearly inaudible
