They are pretty well explained if you hover over the "Door" tile at the bottom left. You need to attach one of the 3, 6 or 9 tiles to determine its length.

I donโ€™t think so. Maybe use the ones that donโ€™t go trough solid blocks and contain them further with the special tile for it. I can look in more detail later but I also recommend not using that many โ€œspecialโ€ tiles except if your map requires them otherwise it will look messy. :)
