most people that want to go in team go on in empty server and play, and the ones that do play in team probably want to play with certain people and avoid others they don’t know

Somehow it is socially accepted to go in /team and not help others. But it’s not socially accepted to do a t0 run and leave some tees behind

this would make more sense if you flipped it, as in being confused why you'd be kicked if u dont help everyone in t0 (which i dont usually see as a problem, t0 groups split up quite often)

I don’t understand why joining a team doesn’t get the same social shame as leaving everyone behind. Because it is exactly that

no, ive never heard anything bad about people just being further in the map and never being a part of the "main" group

and from what ive seen once 2 groups meet they'll usually help eachother a bit and split off (potentially with different players in each group)

As long as you don't get demotivated by the large amount of maps you have to do and you stay consistent, it won't be that* bad to reach top 20

Though, there are a good selection of maps which are just hard and painful to do, it's by no means an easy journey but it is possible
