Juries dont vote like you think they do. They get very specific instructions as to how the law works. Very layman level. Then they are asked questions about the case according to the instructions

Jury has final say. BUT only if the verdict is innocent. If guilty the decision can be appealed to a higher court, which may or may not do a jury trial for it

Don't read if you want to ever be a jury in the US: The jurys final say on innocence is the basis of Jury Nullification. It gives the jury extraordinary power to declare someone perma innocent. Just having read this spoiler technically disqualifies you from ever being a juror

Only if you aren't allowed a jury trial which is rare in the US. Even in that case, precedent is not automatic judgement. It's just another argument the judge considers
