In theory you could actually "teleport" the tee if the lerp distance is too large, but it probably would add some complexity to whatever the lerp code is.

i feel like you could also just add explicit tp behavior

I assume the server doesn't send any info about if a tee teleports, it just sends the new position so the client thinks it moved really fast (edited)
