The maps when downloaded often have a bunch of numbers right after or before i don't recall exactly, but that's gotta go with the mapname in order for you to change the map in lan

maybe try adding the .map extension too if that changed, i kind of forgot how it works

Maps can only be loaded from your "maps" folder, not downloadedmaps or root folder iirc (edited)

oh ok, and do you get feedback by any moderators or do you just get a "bad map/good map" feedback and then have to get testers and so on for yourself?

You get feedback from testers, if the map is not good then it won't get released, you can send updates to the map in a channel made for it (edited)

if the map is rly bad its likely yku just get a "bad map"

otherwise if youre close to a releasable map u will get feedback and detailed tests
