Yeah, some colors don't work exactly with the HSV/HSL picker. I guess having RGB would be useful to get those colors that don't work because of the loss when converting between HSV and RGB

this even happens when using f1. i think the console get color values inherently convert from hsl/v (don’t remember which) to rgb

This happens almost every time. At first glance it could look like a write permissions problem, but then again, It's an exFAT formatted drive, so perminssions doesn't exist. It's also somehow capable of replacing the ddnet.exe file, just not capable of deleting the *old files.

It's been like this for years, so my best guess is that it's the exFAT format i use on this particular drive. It's because I have an ocd with formatting my machine at least once a year or so, and to avoid permission hell on ntfs, all my slave drives are formatted this way.

we played this map in team 0 and had only 2 people surviving at a certain part and came up with a skip so we can drag through more tees at this spot. at the same time konsti was texting about this on another discord and even said that he mapped it on purpose cheatable "extra close" he didnt like the idea of us bringing through 20+ tees and said he is gonna fix it and called us dogs xd typical konsti. its not like we didnt put effort into this map to finish it. thats why we brought way more tees than we usually would but that is not forbidden at all, is it? fixing a map after it got finished is not the way to go. even more when the cheat was intended by konsti just so he can fix it afterwards.

Hello dear DDNet Admins, it seems that you have deleted the most recent finishes on Adorenarine. I find it kind of disturbing that you did not made any further investigations nor provided any explanation on that matter. There was a "skip" in the map that allowed players that were at a further place (around 25 %) in the map to get players from a previous point in the map. This skip was intentionally in the map according to Konsti (Screenshot 1); I don't think it's justified to delete those ranks, given that conjectural mood swings of the mapper are facing 20 hours of work. You could arguably say that we did skip the map, however, as mentioned above it was indeed intended. Additionally, players must've played the map in a legit way to even get to this place - meaning you do not only punish the players that got skipped but also the ones that still played the map "legit". I don't think I have to state out further why those are not supposed to happen. I can pretty confidently say that one tee finished that played the whole map in its intended way through the whole map. However, this tee still took advantage of the increasement of players (which by itself is not a skip) - meaning it would simply be a disadvantage to others if they cannot finish the map the same way (like it is the case after the fix). Furthermore, I don't think the circumstances justify this fix to be meant serious as Konsti is publicly known in this community for cheating and skipping maps. Konsti also has another map on the Insane server (namely Shockwave) which had a skip quite similar to this one which for whatever reason was not fixed nor leaded to any deleted ranks and is well-known as it is even the thumbnail of a youtube video on Grk0ne's channel (Screenshot 2) - same mapper, same server type. I think that Konsti's request was shaped by double standards and that the taken measures are disproportionate as each of us still invested around 20 hours on running this map.

Adorenarine is a 5* map and with your skip you even outplayed the people that took 6h to finish it legit. I dont want people to skip like 30% of such a big map. Im pretty sure i had a freezeline more there so hooking out really were impossible but maybe in the mapping process something was changed at the part or whatsoever. By saying "i made it extra close" i was trying to say that it should be almost possible but not yet reachable. Sadly it was. So when you were doing it ive told you that i am going to fix it and possible ranks would need to get removed. So anything after that point was your responsibility. I even wrote to murpi at the same time that i dont want them to continue the cheat but i didnt know hes on vacations or something

As much as i dont like him i think konsti is in the right here. But i still would love to finally have some clear public rules on skips/cheats

I am afraid that we couldn't have known about the decision you were about to make, even with taking into account all relevant factors, even with best conscience. Your decision to let a full skip on one of your maps persist simply does not make it justifiable that you fix this in comparison rather small cut and delete all the ranks that come with it. Your reputation and behaviour also lead to not taking you serious at all - even taking into consideration the first incident with this map. You and the stuff you say cannot be taken seriously and you proved it with the first incident by simply throwing insults at us and not giving any relevant words at all.
