theres a client setting "cl_motd_time 0" or else try sv_motd "" in autoexec_server.cfg, maybe if theres none, it wont show a popup

make sure you're deleting from both ddnet/data/skins and also %AppData%/Roaming/Teeworlds/skins (edited)
