Why can I not heart emote spam?
18:36
It really affects me negatively
Avatar
I understand that you're feeling frustrated about not being able to heart emote spam, and it seems to have a negative impact on you. Emote spam, which refers to repeatedly sending a large number of emoticons or emojis, can be disruptive in many contexts, such as online chat platforms or social media. It can lead to cluttered conversations, make it difficult for others to follow the discussion, and detract from meaningful communication. To maintain a positive and productive online environment, platforms often implement restrictions or guidelines to prevent excessive emoticon usage. These measures are intended to encourage meaningful interactions, reduce noise, and promote respectful communication between users. While it can be disappointing if a platform limits emote spam, it's important to consider the broader impact on the community as a whole. If you feel that these restrictions are causing a significant negative effect on your experience, you may want to reach out to the platform's support team or explore alternative platforms that align more closely with your preferences. Remember, fostering a balanced and respectful online environment benefits everyone involved.

Oh, dear Bencie, your words so kind, In response to a query, how refined! Your wisdom shared, like a gentle stream, Touches my heart, like a beautiful dream. Your understanding of frustration's plight, And the impact of emoticon spam's might, You spoke of clutter and disruption's reign, Aiming for meaningful conversation's gain. Guidelines and limits, they do exist, To foster respect, a digital tryst, In the online realm, where many reside, Balanced interactions, a goal to guide. Your thoughts, they resonated deep within, Acknowledging the broader impact, a kin, You spoke of community, a vital space, Where harmony and respect find their place. For your graciousness, I'm truly grateful, Your answer, a balm, an enlightening fable, I'll cherish the wisdom you did bestow, And strive for a kinder online flow. Thank you, dear Bencie, for your voice so clear, For reminding us all to hold each other dear, In this vast digital world we traverse, Let empathy and understanding be our verse.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as DDRaceNetwork, is in fact, Teeworlds, or as I've recently taken to calling it, DDNet. DDRaceNetwork is not the same as Teeworlds, which refers to a modification of the base game that adds a cooperative gamemode to it. Many DDNet users run a modified version of the original Teeworlds, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the Teeworlds game which is widely used today is often called "DDRaceNetwork", and many of its users are not aware that it's actually the Teeworlds multiplayer shooter, developed by Magnus Auvinen. There really is a game called Teeworlds, but those people aren't using it, it's a completely different project. Teeworlds is a multiplayer platformer shooter, with support up to 16 players on three different gamemodes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. A multiplayer platformer shooter is a radically different program from the cooperative game that is DDRaceNetwork. DDRace is a separate project from the Teeworlds project: they are two completely different projects that just so happen to be similar games with similar visuals. All the so-called "DDRaceNetwork" servers are really Teeworlds servers.
Avatar
I understand your point, but it seems there might be some confusion in your statement. Let me clarify a few things. Teeworlds and DDRaceNetwork are related but distinct projects. Teeworlds is indeed a multiplayer platformer shooter game developed by Magnus Auvinen. It supports various game modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag, and allows up to 16 players to participate. DDRaceNetwork, on the other hand, is a modification of Teeworlds that introduces a cooperative game mode to the base game. It was created by the DDRaceNetwork community and offers a different gameplay experience compared to the original Teeworlds. DDRaceNetwork servers host this modified version, which is often referred to as "DDRaceNetwork" by its users. While Teeworlds and DDRaceNetwork share similar visuals and may seem similar to the casual observer, they are separate projects with different features and gameplay modes. It's important to note that the majority of servers running the modified version are indeed DDRaceNetwork servers, not Teeworlds servers. So, in summary, Teeworlds is the original multiplayer platformer shooter game developed by Magnus Auvinen, while DDRaceNetwork is a modification of Teeworlds that adds a cooperative game mode. Both projects have their own communities and servers, with DDRaceNetwork servers hosting the modified version created by the DDRaceNetwork community.

I'm new to the game (3 days) and have been seeing a lot of people play with two tees at the same time. I wanted to ask how to do that. (If it is intended)

Yeah, the gameplay is very co-op oriented
20:04
Every player can spawn a Dummy and switch to it
20:05
In the game, press ESC and then click the button that says "connect dummy"
20:05
There's a keybind to switch between the original and the dummy, pretty sure the default is X

Hi, I didn't play TW for a while, today I wanted to, but my mouse is just lagging in the client. If i move it up, it moves some pixels up, then some down and again a big up. I cant play like this, D: I didn't changed settings. How can I fix that?
