there is a command called "logfile" which tells you which file console logs are written into, however this file is always cleared everytime you launch the client, so if you already played today then you cant read yesterday's chat

I just made a change which adds a logappend setting: https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet/pull/6708 When it lands you can have a client.log which keeps growing by putting logfile client.log; logappend 1 in your autoexec_client.cfg

one long novice is Planet Venus for example or Planet Mars. I dont think I have one big oldschool finished. You can scroll through the vote menu and look at the average finish time

That map isn't that long. You just get time penalty depending on what weapons u buy. So this get you very fast a 7 hour time, if you buy every weapon in every part.
