Only possible if you've toggles on entities, go to settings > ddnet tab > background

You can choose to change the colour or you can save a map and use that map BG as the new entities bg

Can it not just read the ip instead? dunno how accurate i am on this, but can't you have it just read the starting ip, excluding the port and find the server and mode from that
