I agree there needs to be a change, but this ain’t it. Testing still happens, it’s just slow (and sometimes really bad, I do try to give testing when I feel the tester critique is bad but I’m not great at it either)
For increasing frequency it might be a good idea to increase the number of testers, it feels like we go through moderators much more often than we do testers.
But saying that you didn’t test because it wasn’t forced just means you didn’t want to test. Tester role should be for those that want to test, not those that feel an obligation too. And anyone who wants to test would hate testing after being forced to do so enough times.
I can only really argue with hypotheticals. I’d hate to be forced to moderate, as a matter of fact I’d probably moderate less if I was forced to do so, and that’s what I’m basing this off.
Again, increasing the tester team might be a good idea, I don’t know what the team think about tho
