Ya, this is super useful information, all the times I've barely been unable to land the hammer on someone, I could've just tried aiming towards the center of the tee

Someone should document this on the wiki, probably

I'm too lazy

Wall hammers in general might be a little more consistent knowing this information as well, I think I've just been following the tee with my aim for years now already though

I just learned that you should always aim towards the tee when hammering through walls, I always thought it didn't matter, but it apparently does

Simply because the benefits are very minimal, the 2nd video I posted, I don't think most people would think to aim towards the tee, they would just think they're dead
I assumed that the hammer hits in a cone shape, meaning that the range is exactly the same for everything in its 'sight'
for hammering through walls, it should always work if you just look directly left/right. @Zwelf does that sound right?
hammer has circle-range where it checks for character to bonk

i agree with draggory on common knowledge here xD i mean just try hammering the tee sitting next to you while looking almost up but technically right - no luck for you
