I think you are looking for bottle. With wine atleast you can run installers normally. Assuming bottle provides a similar environment with proton it should just work

I am very unfamiliar with pop os. I think the installer should have an option to just use already existing partitions which is what you are looking for

the installer, will delete everything and then setup partitions, meanwhile if U go manual, and dont have prepared swap and root partitions space before hand U will have problem too

nah, U just need to make unallocated space, and then partition it before doing installation (atleast that's what i was trying to do before i realised i cant have 5 primary partitions on mbr)

when i realised, all i ever did regarding pc's was just getting games to work(includes server games), and there my skills end, so basically it was clicking random shit, with half assed understanding, maybe i should start making fish food, or some other thing that once U learn U never have to improve
