i think its fine for the most part its just weird that you need to be falling for it to trigger, unless walljumps in other games do that as well

also confused me that you have to be holding into the wall even if you are fully against the wall, but other games do that its jsut got a special animation for being on the wall (edited)

you actually don't need to leave the wall, you need to leave continuous walljump tiles, so if mapper put walljump tiles only one every two tiles, then you can stay with side key pressed
