i mean my friend server had a tuning to make the game slower and he said it was a mod or a plugin. the option were 0.25 Speed, 0.5 Speed, Normal Speed, 1,5 Speed, 2 Speed
@Devs I really liked the Advent tournament, it motivated me to play basically everyday - why not do some kind of map of the week in a similar fashion to motivate players to play on the same map with high palyer counts
non luck way is: run -> start shotgunning floor until you get speed from sg -> jump into tp so you have more room to gain speed -> shoot yourself -> aim ever so slightly up -> shoot -> repeat aiming up and shooting(edited)

i didnt set a /timeout, but i assumed i could use timeout protection since ive done this exact thing before, just switch wifi mid run and reconnect after timeout protection
i did the exact same steps as i did before, which are:
switch wifi ingame -> after around 15 seconds, leave the game -> rejoin -> wait for timeout protection to activate -> leave, rejoin again -> can't use timeout protection

i made sure to set a /timeout code rn, not even that works.
so i don't see cl_timeout_code doing anything at all rn, to me it'd make the most sense if that code was used as the /timeout code if the user hasn't set a /timeout code on the server, but no it doesnt do anything

i can only get the protection in this scenario if i specifically use /timeout before switching wifi

Rn it seems to me that /timeout is stored somewhere, i can keep using the same code even if i haven't set that code since joining the server. it'd make a lot more sense if cl_timeout_code also automatically changed to whatever value you set /timeout as. in my example, i had no idea what my /timeout was since i havent set one in a long time, and my cl_timeout_code is completely different(edited)
