not experimenting, it works :P
i think timakro initially made it, its a static projectile basically, which doesnt blink and which's clientside smoke trails are not stuttering.
That only works thanks to recalculating vel and pos every few ticks, based on the real tunings which the client uses aswell for their calculations

like lets say someone farmed the map grim reaper for a whole week, his rank is gonna be under 30 minutes but his playtime is probably around 15 hours in the map

Where we show the number of finishes per map in https://ddnet.org/players/eujax/, we could also show the hours spent on the map (since June 2021)(edited)
might be too much information in 1 page no? i think you can add another way to not make it all in 1 place like in the left side of the ddnet website where you can have more options, one of them can be ddnet map information or something similar where you can have the same feature and more interesting things

Do you think that it's hard to set up an advanced search page for maps? Like, considering the tags that are currently present (shotgun, endless hook...), difficulty, mapper..and maybe mapname?
