if currently only offer a semi direct way: I have a tool twmap-edit to convert maps into MapDir, which makes a directory containing a human-readable map. in there, you can change the version from Teeworlds07 to DDNet06 and use the same tool to convert the directory back to a map. take care with external mapres, you might need to embed them since some change between versions
