Hello, that's not a parody map and it never was our intention to make it a parody. Adorenarine is a map in style of map series (Adrenaline's) we both (Konsti and me) rly like and enjoyed playing in the past. Map yes is very similar to adrenaline's yet if you will look closly then you will see that design style is a lil bit diffrent and gameplay of parts is also not exacly in the same style. I wouldn't be amazed that if we would talk with Silex to add any of parts from adorenarine map to his then he would say no or he would have to redraw them and make them more adrenalinish =] I think that this "parody" came to your mind bcs of the advent maps that happend in a short time after release of Adorenarine. We had no idea that ddnet will make advent event and that they will make it with this kind of maps like : Tinyhold or Aip-Bores (theres nothing wrong in doing that, I'm just saying we had no idea that this will be a thing).

If the plan is to move these maps to fun after the event then "new" maps made for the event shouldn't be announced as newly released maps and should rather be changed to "New advent map released" Because im reading the announcements as "brutal" or "moderate" etc and that implies that they will be staying in that category

I think it will also be a shame to move some of these to fun category, because they are fun(pun) to play And lets be real almost no one will be voting to play them if they are moved to fun

I think testers and admins should look at the maps after the event and decide which to keep in the game . The maps are something diffrent and some of them definitly deserve to stay on ddnet

My suggestion would be to keep all of them, and maybe just put them under a different heading in votes, like "Advent of DDNet", to make clear that it was not a normal release, but a variation of another map

That is a discussion for testers. Maybe we can learn something from this event about what is popular and wanted by the community

be aware that a 24hour map will always be more popular than other maps, but it will fade out quite fast imo

it is too unnatural to make grass not hookable? I like mixing these tiles but idk about leaving em unhookable, while on other maps grass is always/almost always hookable,

What is hookable here? The grey block in the middle? I think it looks too similar color-wise to the grass

I wouldn't keep any of the rotated/tile swapped etc maps, but higher effort edits deserve to stay

I want both grass and generic dark tiles to be unhookables and then some light color blocks hookable but idk about grass being unhookable at all (edited)

It's fine as long as it is consistent. I have used grass/jungle as unhookable. But it would look silly to leave little open spaces if they aren't doing anything. And a bit confusing.

Make grass color more similiar to unhookable generic tile, it could help with your situation

well im not shore abt keeping some of them for points, but maybe keep ranks on them

If we keep only ranks, but map can't be finished anymore, some players might be mad that they can't get the points anymore

So for each of the modified maps we have to decide between these options: 1. Remove map and remove ranks 2. Remove map but keep ranks 3. Move map to fun server (0 points) 4. Keep map on normal server (Advent of DDNet heading in votes)

Yeah pretty much my take on it tinyhold was a fun expierience and not really yo ci aswell dont know how much the other maps were changed but these were definitly highlights for me
