yeah there is a bug sometimes i get -939 ping on gores servers and than timeout after 100 seconds but i am not really disconnected and i can also read chat, but can´t send messages and only have 1 fps. Than i get timeout or disconnect and need to verify again to join kog servers

editor: holding ctrl + scrolling mouse wheel up and pressing S and keeping scrolling up . Will appear glitch zoom for 1second

Can you make a video to show what you mean? It works as expected for me.

i'd say 0 jumps != 0 double jumps

I disagree.
  • If you fall on a platform then you can't double jump.
  • If you have 1 jumps then you can't double jump after jumping from a platform.
So why allow a jump from directional stoppers (perhaps also laser walls – not tested).

I suspect this was not the case at the time of this map release. Otherwise the mapper would probably have taken into account the extra jump. Edit: nvm, release was in 2014. (edited)

How the map is finished isn't the same as how the mapper intended for players to finish the map (video taken 1 year after map release). But it doesn't matter because the issue (to me) won't be fixed.

I'm not going to hold a debate with you. But to quench your thirst, I release one map on DDMax and DDNet quite some time ago.

That happens only on kog servers? If so its probably their issue, if it happens everywhere - probably your ethernet, at least its first time someone reporting this(iirc). Also lags like that happens to me but only when internet lags

If that happens everywhere and you are sure its not your ethernet you can create issue on github with log dump and detailed description

it happen to peter livos and me since i know... its like your connection is dropping and not all packages is coming to us. but it dont happen to me now its more "sporadisch".

So it was happening with you thru all updates, not only after the last one and you don't share same router? Its pretty weird

deutsche glasfaser for me but its curious than only 3 of us happen to it.... its dont happen often but if its for 1-5 till you timeout

My idea was maybe that his ip changes while he is online and therefore no longer has access to the server and the old connection is terminated and the client can not establish a new one. Therefore the new verify

The funny thing is you still get this "keep-alive" felt because every 2-5seconds you still get an update from the game although the ping goes more and more into the minus and for the one ping it gets better and then worse again....

kk mhh yea need to track the issue better but that you know there is some but cant recreate the issue
