I want to add that while at first I did complain about losing freeze stars, I actually do now like the bar better, ya'll were right. But I still am sad that since I play with ddrace HUD off I now don't get the 5 second headsup when ninja is about to run out

if it was ever crucial for me to move to safety before ninja ran out, I'd have to turn the HUD on for the part

Not liking the new HUD is weird, it has a lot of useful information. You can tell if someone has X weapon / powerup just by spectating them, and it's easy to keep track of your own

You should try adjusting the transparency of it if you find it distracting, just open it up in some editing software

ya the new HUD is neat, I just always have played with all HUD off, there is no unique information in the HUD that you cant get elsewhere, so I just keep it off :). It is cool that you can see what weapons other players have, but I could add that to my /pause bind and save the screen real estate. Ninja timer is the only unique information in the HUD i think

I guess if you're easily distracted I can see why you'd disable it, it's well designed and very useful for gameplay though

at default zoom if ur dragging a tee across the top while ur hanging, the timer is RIGHT there where ur hook max distance is
