@Draggory ddmax aka DDracemaX was a network of servers like ddnet and which existed before ddnet. DDNet gathered as many maps as possible and released them in special category named ddmax.
In those categories (recently divided from one category to few) can be placed only maps which were released on ddmax or which were rly planned for DDracemaX 3.0
So in 2023 there will be some "new" maps added to those categories :
some old maps that didn't make it to ddnet yet for various reasons
some old maps which were never released and which were rly planned for DDmaX 3.0
So no real new maps will be added to those categories (theres no point in making competition inside ddnet).
If DDracemaX would be it's own real seperate entity then yeah we could think about adding real new maps. However for now nothing is planned to change that.
Roadmap :
end of 2022 / beginnig of 2023 - add all Time CP's to all ddmax maps which are on ddnet
beginnig of 2023 - release of all maps which were created by mapper named Obst (both old ones and those which were planned for ddmax 3.0)
Q2/Q3 release of all ddmax maps which were on real ddmax and which were planned for future
2024 release of all maps created by me which were planned for ddmax
This roadmap can change because DDNet yet needs to figure out what they will be rly doing with "season 2" and ddnets future.(edited)
