sounds like your pc is crashing. probably driver related, what is your hardware?

can u try to open from terminal with ./DDNet "gfx_backend Vulkan" or dont use GPU like this LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 ./DDNet "gfx_backend OpenGL"

else i'd try: uninstall your amd driver again install only the vulkan drivers for intel and hope that the internal CPU's iGPU card can be used^^

well it was fine on ubuntu distro

this looks worse than other backends, and also isnt the fastest, but usually makes no problems, since its like 1990 spec xd

anyway the problem can also be inside the kernel. Dunno how to debug it. kernel logs might help

guess the easiest is to stay with a stable release, except you are a linux nerd and want to find out what the problem is causing ^^

ok. can't really help then sry You can still try to downgrade kernel + mesa manually. But this requires a bit of knowledge for self compiling, except there are some AUR packages for such experiments. Maybe another dev that uses arch can help you

yeah compiling is very CPU intensive

so yeah i guess install linux firmwares for your GPU and also the drm stuff
