Why is it surprising to you that a fair bit of people who don't really care about points thought that the benefits of a clean slate outweigh the "loss" (technically just archival) of some progress?

Blade is a classic gate keeper. Obviously he doesn't want change to happen

I would recommend to lean back for a week and wait how things will sort out. No one can tell you a serious answer

That's what I proposed aswell. Legacy points would not be associated to accounts but stay there

and when you create an account you can decide which legacy name you collect points for

I was okay with points being removed if it meant that things would be fixed like account system would be added

I was talking about season 2 in game chat the other day and basically the whole server agreed that they might quit playing entirely if they lost their points lol
